South Asia Food Fest
New Delhi (01.04.2019) SAU News: A South Asia Food Fest, as grand and as delicious as the ones in the
previous years, was organised by SAU students as part of the SAU Foundation Day celebrations on 1 April
2019intheAkbarBhawancampus.Thecelebrationofthemomentousdaygotmovedfrom7Marchdueto
ongoing mid-semester examinations. Students from different countries made sure that the SAU
Community got to taste some of the most delectable dishes from their respective places. Qabili, Kebabs,
Firni, Manto, Hilsa, Halim, Suja, Zow, Kharang, Puutaa, Chhoila, Thekuwa, Chuiuda, Litti Chokha, Vaggani,
Baanji and Biryanis, among others, were some of the delightful dishes that people savoured to their
heart'scontent.
Later in the evening, winners of the SAU Sports Fest 2019 received their prizes from Dr. Kavita Sharma,
President,andProf.SantoshPanda,VicePresident,SAU.
